The breathable mesh fabric makes this neck cover ideal for warmer days, helping the horse stay cool while providing protection against flies and insects. During colder periods, it works perfectly as an addition to the mesh rug, either as a layer under another rug or as a sweat rug after exercise.

The neck cover attaches easily to the rug with flat hook and loop fastenings and can be secured to the halter at the front with a hook and loop strap at the poll. It closes with three hook and loop fastenings along the underside of the neck. The lining is designed with a tightly woven fabric over the mane to reduce wear, as well as soft fleece at the poll to help prevent rubbing.

The inside is lined with Welltex® material, which reflects the horse’s own body heat. This may help stimulate blood circulation, which in turn can support muscle and joint mobility and relaxation. An excellent choice for supporting the horse during warm-up before exercise and promoting recovery afterwards.
