Liniment for horse

Horse liniment is most often used for the training horse's legs but also works to be used on muscles when needed. Muscle liniment is usually a little kinder in its composition and should be massaged into the horse's muscles for a while to really have an effect, in this way the effect of the massage is also increased. A cooling liniment is usually used for the horse's joints after hard effort or if the horse has windgalls. If the horse has windgalls it is important that a veterinarian is aware of this, so that there is no reason to make a major check on how your horse should be handled in training.
