Tempest rain and fly rug from Shires in a durable material that protects the horse from rain, flies and insects. The combination of a waterproof upper section and breathable sides makes it a good choice for changeable summer weather.
The rug features a waterproof upper in durable 600 denier ripstop with a waterproof rating of 3000 mm, allowing rain to run off. The quick-drying mesh side panels allow airflow and provide good ventilation, with a breathability rating of 3000 g/m². The rug fastens at the chest with buckles, has a fixed neck cover, an adjustable fillet strap and a large tail flap. The material also provides protection from the sun’s rays with up to 90% UV protection.
