Nathe Standard Snaffle is a synthetic loose ring bit with a flexible mullen mouth made from Thermoplastic. The mouthpiece features a low port and distributes pressure evenly across the tongue under light rein contact. As rein pressure increases, the pressure shifts towards the edges of the tongue.
In sizes 120 and 130 mm, the Standard Snaffle has a 20 mm mouthpiece that tapers slightly towards the centre. A steel core inside the mouthpiece provides additional stability, while the loose rings allow the bit to move freely and find a natural position in the horse’s mouth.
Nathe Thermoplastic has a smooth surface and is both temperature resistant and dimensionally stable. The combination of a flexible mouthpiece, low port and even pressure distribution makes this model particularly suitable for young and sensitive horses.
Size 110 mm - Pony Standard
The 110 mm size is the Nathe Pony Standard and differs from the larger sizes by having a slimmer 16 mm mouthpiece. Its smaller dimensions are designed for ponies and provide a less bulky mouthpiece. Unlike the Standard Snaffle in sizes 120 and 130 mm, the 110 mm version does not have a steel core.
