Hoof and veterinarian tape is very helpful in protection, stabilize and moisture proof in case of hoof abscess, plastering and bandaging

Hoof and veterinarian tape can with advantage be used for many different things, for example to repair silage bales, awnings etc. but the main area of use is hoof and bandage securing.

The tape is white and 18 m x 6,2 cm

The farrier, Kjell Reimertz from Gothenburg have tried using the tape on hoof´s, and he says this:
"A few thoughts of what I´m using the tape for"

-In case your horse would loose it´s shoe, I would recomend you to tape around the hoof capsule to keep the hoof together so that it wont break. 
-When your horse´s shoe is too lose, you can use the tape to keep the shoe on it´s place for a while.
-First of all, I use the hoof and veterinairy tape when I´ve cut up the hoof, after plastering in major interventions and boils. Then, I put two layers crossed over each other. It keeps moisture and dirt out.
- You can also tape around the hoof to minimize movement in case of injuries, for example a fracture.
-It is also possible to tape on block or wedge on the hoof for evaluation.
-Can be used at floating soles.
