Unlike humans, horses do not have a well developed muscle pump in the lower leg, meaning blood circulation and the removal of metabolic waste products occur more slowly, especially during extended periods of stable rest. EQUI Compress works with targeted compression from the coronet band upwards to stimulate the vascular and lymphatic systems, increase blood flow and support recovery in the leg tissues.

The compression boots are particularly suitable for competition horses, horses on box rest or during periods of reduced movement and can be used both preventatively and to support recovery.
